Like most in the industry, recruitment was a career that found me.

It may be a career full of ups and downs, but I found the good days particularly great and it was those days that made the job so enjoyable. I wanted that feeling of accomplishment repeatedly.

I loved the buzz of making a placement as well as working in partnership with a broad spectrum of clients (from FTSE 100 organisations to pre-IPO businesses and start-ups). It also felt great to know that I was almost entirely responsible for my own success – the financial rewards were great too!

In my most recent role, I worked for a specialist legal and company secretarial boutique agency where I developed my career and progressed to Manager leading the in-house permanent team. I spent six years working with chairmen, CEOs, general counsels, group company secretaries and HR professionals, helping their businesses achieve success by providing them with the best talent in the market whilst enabling candidates to fulfil their lifelong career ambitions.  My approach was simple- I worked in genuine partnership with my clients and candidates and I was relentless in my pursuit to deliver for both.

I have a genuine passion for the recruitment industry and a real insight into the role of a recruitment consultant (having been one for over eight years).
